My heart is so happy. Anyday I get to snuggle a little baby is a good day. Little Aspyn is a beautiful little doll, isn’t she? Gah. I was so excited that it worked out to get her newborn portraits taken within that small window after her birth! I know how quickly those days go and before you know it your baby is a month or two old and you’re outside of that ideal window for beautiful wrapped, curled up poses!
I like to tell moms-to-be that ideally, their session would be scheduled weeks if not months before their estimate due date and the portraits would take place between days 7 and 20 (unless baby decides to arrive super early or late!). Well, we made it happen and I am so glad we did! She’s already changed from her newborn portraits so I’m so glad that they have images to treasure from her tiniest days outside the womb.
