And the winner of the cutest sibling photos ever by indianapolis newborn photographer goes to…THIS sweet duo!! Have you ever seen something so precious? This big brother is killing it. He was so wonderfully gentle and patient during this portion of the newborn session. I was very impressed. Her little peeking eyes during his forehead kiss was just the icing on the cake for me.
Ximena came to my studio in Noblesville when she was two weeks old for her newborn photos. She was a perfect model and such a content baby. One of the things that helps during newborn sessions is when mom is ready to keep baby’s belly full as needed! Those early days and weeks are full of shifts in baby’s eating schedule, so being able to go with the flow and let baby nurse or have a bottle to settle back down helps so much! We kept her color palette soft and I love the greens and blues with her complexion.
Interested in newborn portraits?
I take a limited number of newborn sessions per month due to the unpredictable nature of delivery. I always want to leave room in the calendar for shifting around session dates as needed.
Newborn sessions are best taken between days 7-21 for full term babies, but I’ve had 6 week old newborns come in for newborn portraits and done phenomenally well!
Maternity portraits are best taken during weeks 28-32, so mom has a beautiful baby belly, but is still comfortable enough (in theory!) and far enough from her due date so I don’t have to use my nursing skills to delivery a baby.
If you are expecting and want more information about scheduling your maternity or newborn portraits, let me know!
I’d truly love to be your newborn photographer baby. Seriously, it’s a treat for me. Let’s chat!
