This was an unforgettable newborn portrait session. I’d love to say that I can remember every single baby that comes to the studio, but the truth is I can’t even remember exactly what my own babies looked like at each stage without the help of some photos so I can’t begin to remember every baby I photograph. But this baby. Well, when the mom texts you the day after the session and says that the photos are all the more precious because their baby had to be rushed to the hospital and have emergency heart surgery – it tends to stick with you.
This sweet little lady. Sigh. You’ll be happy to know she’s through surgery and recovered and home with her family. I’m so thankful we were able to get these images taken before her scary ordeal and so glad she is on the other side of it all now.
Every day is a gift. Every baby is a miracle. I am sincerely thankful for the work I get to do with families to document the precious moments of life.
