It’s like having a backstage pass or something – my job. Everyone else gets to look at photos of the brand new baby on facebook or instagram and ooo and ahh over how adorable and teeny they are and I actually get to hold them and touch their little fingers and toes and see the teeny perfect expressions right up close. I get to wrap them and put beautiful tiny headbands on them and preserve these perfect little moments when they are so new in the world. They’re growing at a ridiculously rapid pace, they seemingly change every single day and I get to see them when they’re just days old. Barely used to breathing air! I love my job.
I can be long-winded when I’m overwhelmed with the beauty of and the thankfulness I have for babies. Babies are just a great way to start humans. Whoever said that had it right. Just look at this precious little lady and I dare you to tell me I’m wrong.
